I am interested in connecting with current and former members of the Air Defense Artillery, particularly those who served in Nike-Herc, Hawk and Patriot during the mid to late 80's, as well as current personnel serving in Patriot and THAAD Units. I've been out of the service for a long while and would like to catch up with the latest technology and other developments.

When I was a police officer, I worked for a police captain, Mike Amador, that had manned one of the original Nike bases in Texas in the 1960s. He was full-time National Guard, and the base was on a farm to market road between Denton and Sanger. I haven't seen him in years, and if still alive would probably be in his eighties by now. He was one of the best natural pistol shots I ever met.

16C 1977-1986 Delte 2/56 ADA, Zweibrucken. As they closed down and the 16C was going away, I choose the 16H MOS to move to rather that Patriot. Next stop Stuttgart. and then back to Fort Bliss and the Secretaries office.
