Since being offended is a national emergency concerning flags, I propose we complete the cleansing with the additions listed.
1. The State of Alabama shall be a crimson cross of St. Andrew. (Ah religious ties, it must come down, lest we offend atheist).
2. The Arizona State Flag can be traced back to the 1910 National Rifle Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. (may offend Anti-Gun advocates, must come down). The red and yellow colors found in the rays are the colors flown by the Spanish Conquistadors led by Francisco Vasquez de Coronado in his unsuccessful search for the Seven Cities of Cibola in 1540. (may offend Mexicans and Native Americans, must come down).
3. Arkansas, the single star above the state name represents Arkansas' membership in the Confederate States of America. (Assuredly Arkansas are all racist, must come down).
4. California, The Bear Flag was first raised on June 14, 1846, at Sonoma by a group of American settlers revolting against the rule of Mexico. (May offend Mexican Americans, must come down).
5. Connecticut, the motto is an adaptation of Psalms, Chapter 79, Verse 3 of the Latin Vulgate Version of the Bible. ( ah, the evil Christians have a connections here. Must come down).
6. Delaware, the colonial blue field and the buff colored diamond were said, by members of the commission established to design the state flag, to represent the colors of a uniform worn by General George Washington. (Washington owned slaves, must come down).
7. Florida, reminiscent of Alabama's State Flag and the red "X" of the Confederate States of America, the Florida State Flag displays two diagonal red bars on a white field. (must come down).
8. Georgia, the 2003 flag is reminiscent of the First National Flag of the Confederate States of America and directly under the coat of arms are the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" in upper case letters. ( a double wammy, must come down).
9. Hawaiian Islands, the British Union Jack represents Hawaii's historical relationship with Great Britian as its protectorate. (the British lost the war just as the confederacy, must come down).
10. Maryland, the red and white Crossland colors began to gain popularity among the southern sympathizers in the state. As a symbol of resistance to the Union and President Lincoln, the red an white Crossland colors became the Maryland "secession colors" and were reproduced in banners and even children's clothing. During the Civil War itself, the Crossland colors in the cross bottony configuration were used by Confederate soldiers to identify their birthplace. (Confederate ties, must come down).

12. South Carolina, The flag that flies over the state of South Carolina today is of the same design that flew over the independent South Carolina during the Civil War. (unrepentant racist, must come down).
13. The Washington State Flag is the only state flag with a green field and it's the only state flag that displays an image of an actual person. A slave owner, (must come down).
14. the gay pride flag and sometimes the LGBT pride flag, is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride. (Serves a restricted/ specific group of people which is prejudicial, must come down)
15. The Pan-African flag — also known as the UNIA flag, Afro-American flag and Black Liberation Flag (Serves a restricted / specific group of people which is prejudicial, must come down)

Let's just take all flags, bleach them, and put up white flags. We might as well surrender now.

There are many things of greater import to concern ourselves with. I, as well as others, realize that there was at one time slavery was practiced in this nation and still persist in other nations. We cannot change the past and it appears that we will not learn from it either. I know one thing to hold true though, a wound will never heal properly if you continually scratch at it.
