This is 50th Anniversary of the TET Offensive, in Vietnam. While Military Police are largely maligned to this day... The TET Offensive is when the Military Police Branch/Corps was transitioned from Combat Service Support to Combat Support. This was due to the efforts of the Soldiers from 716th Military Police Battalion, who attacked and retook the Embassy from the VC who had previously overrun it; and then they defended it until reinforcements arrived. We are now Maneuver Fires and Effects.

The action of the Military Police during the Tet offensive is a highlight of their corps.

Ambassador Ellsworth Bunker (hands in pocket, glasses) inspects embassy grounds after MPs took it back from the VC. (Tet, 1968)

SPC Andrew Ross - Sounded like you were saying it was the only... I guess I misunderstood.

If I had said it was "the" highlight, your statement would have been accurate, while "a" highlight suggests it is among others.

I had MP's attached to my infantry squad for Urban Warfare Training! Good crosstraining for them.

What did I miss? We did urban warfare training (combat village) at least yearly as part of our quals. That was decades ago. Did something change?
