We don’t typically use the word ‘caregiver’ as veterans because supporting our brothers & sisters is something we do out of instinct. Melissa Comeau and our partners at the VA & Red Cross are doing incredible work to get valuable resources into the hands of those who perform these duties.

However, if the spouse is taking care of the veteran, it won't hurt to see if you qualify for the VA Caregiver program.

My Daughter is my Moms provider she gets the VA A&A. Plus my Mom gets a 300. Dollar pension too. By all means check it out.

There are many veterans serving as caregivers to other veterans. Maybe they help a friend get to the VA or drop groceries off for a neighbor. The word caregiver is often misinterpreted. If you ever need any assistance, assisting another veteran. We are here for YOU!
