See that dime? Find the 5mm mark on the ruler. That's the size of the kidney stone I have and need to pass. Aside from the pain I am in and the pain I will be in.....I want to give a big shout out of professionalism and care to the men and women staffed at the ST Paul/Minneapolis VA Center next to FT Snelling. What a way to start my first weekend with my new unit.

I had a variety of kidney stone called a jackstone. It was about the size of a quarter. This nightmare had to be broken up with an ultrasonic wand. I wish I could say it had a happy ending, but I have never endured pain like that - and I've been on fire.
Ultimately, all the debris came out, most of it pretty small but not all of it. The worst part was urinating and running out of piss, leaving the sand in the plumbing.
I do not envy you, my friend.

That is a huge kidney stone, even one that is almost microscopic in size hurts a lot. I have had that experience twice years ago and never want to go through it again ever ! I hope that You are able to put that experience behind You and never have to deal with it again either. I hope You get settled in well with your new unit and the best to You there also.
