In 1970-71 I was stationed at Lowry AFB, CO which was in Denver, CO. It was sure a good assignment. I did visit Colorado Springs while there as a had a friend that was a Cadet at the USAFA, US Air Force Academy there. Visit a lot of the tourist attraction in the area but not the other Military bases.
