Nothing new there. "Christians" have been telling Indigenous People that for 528 years, so afar.

1SG Jason Hastings - Oh, and I almost forgot. My regard for the burial grounds of Indians have not a thing to do with atheism. I always leave a pouch of tobacco (or a pack of cigarettes) on my dad's grave when I visit him. It's a symbol of respect, and provides him with offerings to the spirits, so that he may continue his death journey. I would tell you the story of Manabush and the Grasshopper, how tobacco came to the Menominee (the Mamaceqtaw, the People), but you would not understand the difference between culture and religious belief.

And Christians were pissing on the graves of ancestors in this video, and the Indians were rightfully upset.

1SG Jason Hastings - First off, oral history can tell us a lot, besides being very entertaining.
You said:
"There was no genocide in the US. Genocide denotes a deliberate and intentional effort. There was never such a policy."

One word: Buffalo!

Most native bands had very small battles. Only around the time of the French & Indian Wars were there vary large battles with high(comparatively) numbers of causalities. Otherwise, it was extremely unusual to have more that 10 to 15 KIA, if even that.

" It has been happening for thousands of years, all over the planet when different civilizations clash.
Big difference. In most such events, the opposing sides had basically the same technology. Big difference.!

1SG Jason Hastings - There was absolutely a policy of genocide in this country. "The only good Indian is a dead Indian." It is one of the reasons that my granddad was sent to an Indian School hundreds of miles from his reservation. They didn't even let him know that his mother died. The whole purpose was to "kill the Indian, save the man." Whites still remove Indian children from their parents, and give them to white couples. If someone asks you what percentage American you are, do you ever say I'm 1/2 American? That happens to Indians all the time. You get to control your own justice system, Indians do not. Your ancestors weren't herded into concentration camps and starved to death, and then slaughtered if they fought back or fled.

Second, I'm not basing it on what Hitler studied, I'm basing it on what he said and wrote. https://indiancountrytoday.com/archive/hitler-said-to-have-been-inspired-by-us-indian-reservation-system-V3MQ5A4QjU2GDXxTL980_w You can deny it all you want, but that's a fantasy world you're living in. I suppose that whites didn't send smallpox infected blankets to the Indians either.

And if Menominee claims are fiction, are the Judeo-Christian claims also fiction? We know, for example that the fall of Jericho is fictional. The Bible was created during a time where stories were orally passed down over thousands of years. Stories constantly morphed and changed over time, and the Bible is a collection of these. This is why it has the nearly identical flood story from Gilgamesh, and why Jesus has the same characteristics as Dionysus, Osiris, Horus, Mithra, and Krishna. The contradictions and immorality in the stories are not evidence that God is flawed or evil, but rather that humans invented him, just like the thousands of other gods that we used to but no longer believe in.

1SG Jason Hastings - It was absolutely genocide. I'm not going to argue with you any more than I would argue with a holocaust denier. You're simply not going to consider that your people could do such things, just like you think Biblical slavery is somehow OK.

This is the very worst of religion.

Edit to add: Well let's be real, it isn't the worst, it's not even in the top ten. But this is one of the ways it starts.
