What is a Combat Engineer, a 12B? In a nutshell, it is a person with a deep and abiding faith in the idea that in all the many and various arenas of human social interactions there are no interpersonal conflicts that cannot be satisfactorily resolved through the proper application of high explosives.

In my opinion, the combat engineer finds solutions to problems that others can't solve, an oold SFC said it best in 1973, " Bobo hang dry wall in the Captains Office, But Sarge I've never hung dry wall, your a combat engineer, figure the shit out! Got it done!
