My daughter and I hiked to Abrams Falls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park October 2020. We were the first that morning and go great photos. The camera really doesn't do the scenery true justice.

What was your decision on teaching in the summer or taking a course?

I am going to teach the summer school course. I just cant turn my back on helping those students be better prepared with for their Algebra 1 course next school year. It isn't the same as the hands on I was wanting to get but I'll see if I can get someone to record the seminars with the specific things I was going to participate in.

I suspected that would be the case. You talked with more passion about teaching. Good for you and the kids. I don’t envy you lol. Cpl Vic Burk

Maj Robert Thornton - I love hiking in the Smokies. My son and I did the Appalachian Trail inside the park (~71 Miles) in three days! We have done numerous other trails and plan to do all 900 miles before I expire. My daughter recently became involved in the hiking with us. It is great and great family time with my adult children. Wife can't really go due to bad knees (they have been replaced).
