These are some paintings that I saw at the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton, Alberta.
The museum is built around the Avro Lancaster heavy bomber of WW2.
One painting is of a belly landed B-17 flying fortress. Other aircraft such as gliders and the de Havilland mosquito are also depicted.
More aircraft paintings in the comments.

Amn Dale Preisach probably a Fleet Fawn which is probably a British or Canadian version of Steerman? Then they also had a tiger moth.

THE GREAT ESCAPE (1963) | Official Trailer | MGM
Allied prisoners of war plan for several hundred of their number to escape from a German camp during World War II.Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/...
Amn Dale Preisach I got to the museum about 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon. I knew they were closing at 5:00 p.m. I just went crazy and took photos so I could look at the information later and then focus on the plane displays. I will have to look at the pictures of the aircraft paintings or lithographs on my laptop and zoom in and see if I can read what they are. I was amazed on the depth of the museum on different missions done by the Royal Canadian Air Force and the British royal air force. They also had a diorama or pictures of the Airman that were involved in The Great Escape which was made into a movie in 1962 about an escape from a prison camp in Nazi germany. Canadians were involved in that breakout as well. Some of them luckily didn't Escape because they would have been shot. Most of those that were captured were executed by the Gestapo instead of being put back in the Pow Camp because they had Escape many times this was supposed to be the escape proof Compound but when you have all these Airmen who tried to escape before, they all get together and work their way around the soft Sandy soil, issues with making fake passports for replica looking uniforms to escape.

I'm going to post this separately but I wanted a few of you to get an early peek at what I saw besides just a Lancaster bomber in a hangar.

A few Lancaster bombers from the Royal Canadian Air Force or also involved in the damn Busters. The mission was to drop the spinning mines and bounce them over the torpedo Nets and they would then sink to the bottom of the dam and then explode and the force of the water would break the dam in half and flood the valley and destroy industrial infrastructure.
