Finally the end to a terrible war, but I'm glad that the North ( Union Army ) won. I have visited the Custis-Lee Mansion a few times, and what a beautiful view from there.

The war was brutal and the conditions were deadlier. The surrender of General Robert Lee to Lt. General Ulysses S. Grant brought an end to the Civil War.
Excellent share Dale!
