Well I accomplished the rare "double/double" for old guys. Yep. I dropped my phone in the toilet. I was standing up, when the alarm went off on my phone. I had forgotten I had set it to get the casserole out of the oven. It startled me...and down went the phone. When I bent over to get see where the phone went, my glasses fell of my head and joined with my phone in the toilet bowl. I got tongs from the kitchen, which I promptly threw in the trash after retrieval. YouTube told me how to clean both items and let the phone sit in rice.
Everything is antiseptic now, and they both smell like lavender wet wipes. But they both work. Isn't being old...grand?

Yep, Nobody in my family answers the phone in the car. Nor do they text, unless the non driver is handling communications. I don't have many hard rules in my family, but that is one nobody breaks.

Rubbing Alcohol works great cleaning & disinfecting phones, same with the glasses. Or just plain hydrogen peroxide, vinegar or lemons because of the high acidity work well too...
Being old comes with privileges too..nothing wrong with being old. It's like a well aged fine wine/bourbon/whiskey/etc..
They get better with time.
