A student from one of my classes asked for some blank computer paper. I had no idea why and just gave her the paper. Things like this make me feel like I am really making a difference. That's going to make it hard for me to walk when I decide to retire. Then to top it all off, one of the students from another class brought me a hot chocolate from the school cafe. (Names whited out on a copy, not the original), for privacy reasons)

A nice "Out of the Blue" jester, a good feeling from the school class.
I work for the Department of Education and take care of all the facilities for the Central office buildings.
I come in at 0430hrs, check all the buildings everyday, and make sure everything is ready for the daily operations.
Some, come in earlier to get things done before 0800hrs, before the opening of the buisness day. Many know I've been a police officer for 21 years, they know I'm in early and I shoot strait. Lol
Anyway, kind justers have a ripple effect, you'll never know when the ripple will come back and hit you.
One day I found a kind note from a doctorate, who appreciates coming in early in dark hours, due to she knows I'm at location.
Funny, this doctorate was a classmate of mine in 1967, 58 years ago, she was the timid little girl in a pink laced dress, that never said anything to anyone, and kept to herself everyday.
"Good vibes, can not be seen, but it sure can be felt" as in a good oldie song.

SGT Carl Blas That's nice to get the out of nowhere recognition. Congrats Brother Carl. You deserve to be recognized for going above and beyond. But, that's who you are.
