It is midnight. I took these two pictures...on facing North, one facing South. Snow is falling pretty steady now. So by morning, we will be in full Snowmageddon. I am happy that the kids will get to build their forts, play on the ice hockey pond, and sled in their canoe.
I am not happy that it has closed roads, our two bridges and turned I 85 and I 95 into parking lots. So far, no power outages on our side of town. I did not want people to suffer, or get caught out in this. I know from my trips to FoodLion on Thursday and Friday....most people did heed the warning. As they were out of both milk, and bread. And pallet after pallet of water was being emptied. Oh, and Toilet paper had to be rationed by Friday Morning. And they sold most of their charcoal and pet food too. So folks can stay home for two or three days at least.
But the kids should have a really fun Sunday and Monday...and everything is closed. So no reason to be out on the roads.
