I'm wondering if this punishment is justified or not?

I was wondering if anyone could help me understand if I'm being screwed over or this is justified. I will explain my situation first. I am the HHT armorer for my unit my NCO is an E-5 supply SGT. I am married with 1 child. I have had trouble with my car for a while now and have been operating on 1 car. This has worked the whole time up to this day. I go to morning formation, salute the flag and then drive home to take my wife to work. She has to be at work at 7:30 and my son has to be dropped off at school anywhere between 7:30 and 9:30. After I drop them off I change in to my duty uniform and head to work normally getting there about 15 mins prior to work call.
I have not had any problems with doing this for the past few months. But ever since we have not our new XO (who is the arms room officer as well) we have had issues because he comes off extremely arrogant and is never wrong. We have had 1 or 2 times where I have been told I have walked away while he was talking or just dodge work. Which is not true at all but when I try and defend myself I get shot down with the rank card. I have went to my 1sg and CO about this and nothing has been done. I am just told to move on and get over it, so I do. But today I was told to do something by our xo @1100-1110ish knowing the task will take a while because it was only me at the time I head to tackle it. A little time passes and I see its 11:35 time for lunch and leave to eat. When I get back I get yelled at for not doing a task that was given. Confused I try and ask what I did wrong but am shot down Immediately. But I am given more help to complete the task. 30 minute pass and the 1SG calls me into his office asking what happend this morning and I explain the task I was given and the time. I am told that the XO claims he had given me the task at 9:30 and I had went off and ignored his request. But as I stated earlier I was given the task a little after 1100am and have text from him asking me to come see him to give me sed task. This was not the first time the XO has lied or exaggerated something to make me look mad in the eyes of my leadership. So I explain the other times this has happend. After explaining I am told that I need to communicate better and there is nothing going to be done. Then i receive the counseling that I have provided. To me it seems like I am only being punished because of the problems I am having with the XO not because of the situation I have in the morning because it doesn't affect anyone negatively And I have had it blessed off by my NCOIC. I do pt everyday after work and have not failed an APFT or been late because of my situation. If you can give me some advice on what to do that would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to lose rank over someone lying about me. I don't find it professional at all and would greatly appreciate yours help. thank you

Ok, couple things you need to understand. This is a counseling statement. It is not a punishment. There is nothing punitive in there. It lists what the rater considers deficiencies and a plan of action roughly to correct it.

That said, what is your company's listed daily operational training schedule? IE First formation. PT. Dismissal for personal hygiene/chow. Second Formation. Dismissal for duties. Third formation. Dismissal for lunch etc. Get a copy of this and look at it. It is lists on there where SM's are dismissed from this time to this time in order to perform hygiene and grab chow and you are not due in to actual work until a specified time, use that as documentation to address the mandated 0615 requirement.

Also, from this point forward, document EVERYTHING with this XO. If they give you an assignment, write it down. Keep a notepad with you to help with this and keep those notepads otherwise it becomes your word against theirs. Also, as much as it sucks you are going to need to refresh on proper decorum and use it. They give you and order and they are not just your superior but the XO. So you have to be dismissed as well as follow their order.

Sucks that you are in that situation but hopefully you can just ride it out until you PCS that unit.

As SSG Grierson said, document. Save any emails and text messages. Carry a small notebook to write dates and actions. Talk to your NCOIC. Taskings should go through him/her. Good luck.
