He was subpoenaed. He must obey lawful orders. He must uphold the constitution. He was asked and he answered. I’m failing to see how he could be wrong unless he perjured himself. Did he hear a phone convo where an individual was engaged in an activity outside the preview of his elected office? Was the soldier ordered to testify? Did he tell the truth?

Anything outside of that is irrelevant to the argument and I’d wager the attitude towards this soldier would be far different if the parties involved were reversées. Those cilifying him would be defending his actions because it fits their confirmation bias and not the facts.

Vineland should have been removed from his position as soon as it came to light what he did. He also should have been court-martialed for violating his chain of command and for service unbecoming an officer. POTUS not some damn O-4 in the military is the one who sets precedent of how this country deals with other countries.
