John, it's a glitch that shouldn't have been rolled out yet (think if it as a car that mistakenly came off the assembly line with only the chassis, engine and seats in it).
As soon as RallyPoint rolls back the update it will disappear. There are a lot more safeguards and testing that have to go into this feature before it is rolled out (assuming it does).

MAJ Byron Oyler - down the road, there is discussion about people that would have a legitimate concern about having their identity known being able to post anonymously, but it is discussion only right now (if implemented, it would be tightly controlled, so no, people aren't going to be posting political comments anonymously).

COL Randall C. - One of my biggest concerns with anonymous posts is we live in a society that is becoming nastier and nastier to each other and keyboard rangers are the worst. Allowing to post without your name I feel this will only get worse. Now perhaps people asking for help, especially those still in active service that could be very different.
