I did mine in effectively brand new Rocky S2Vs. But basically any comfortable well fitting boot will work.

A little unknown boot brand compared to the "Big" names, but look into Tactical Research. They are very lightweight, comfortable and durable. I took the same pair (model) through Air Assault, 160th selection, SERE school and jump school. Love those boots.

What are the Best Ruck boots? | RallyPoint

Nike and Rockys are great, but they have a pretty soft sole. Any opinions on boot preferences for rucks? Say 50-70lbs (including the water) and distances up to 20 miles. Also, they have to be made EE (extra wide)
