Good morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the July 25th edition of Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD): "Find the New Moon." According to an online calendar I checked, the next New Moon is July 28th at 1:55PM. That means (for most of us) the morning of July 29th should look a bit like today's APOD taken in May 2022 from Spain. Do you see the New Moon? You're only going to find a thumbnail sliver if you do. Hint: draw a line up from the buoy just past the center of the photo and look slightly to your right.
