If I re-enlist as prior service, can I retake the ASVAB or will I be restricted to my old MOS?

I'm looking to reenlist in the army as prior service and was wondering if I can retake the ASVAB? I'm also curious if I'll be restricted to my old MOS (11B).

I just enlisted in the NG after a 10 year break in service from AD. It will depend. If you ASVAB is over 10 years old, you have to re-take the ASVAB. Recruiter will want you to take the old MOS because it is easier and less paperwork. You can ask to retake the ASVAB and go for a new MOS.
