Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for honoring U.S. Army Air Corps WWII fighter pilot, who evaded capture and flew combat missions during the Korean War and the Vietnam War Major General Rexford H. Dettre Jr.
He is a 1938 graduate of my Alma Mater, USMA West Point.
Rest in peace Rexford H. Dettre Jr.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. Redford H. Dettre was a force to be reckoned with. He continued fiercely after being liberated as a POW to continue serving his country until 1974. I enjoyed his history story.
