Sir, even though it was 70 years late, it was good to see this veteran finally receive his Victory Medal!

In 2000 The Navy Department sent my dad a combat action ribbon for his time as a Seabee in the South Pacific during WWII in addition to his Victory, Philippine Liberation and 4 campaign stars
