I would highly suggest you to ask your first line supervisor. As a 42A, correct me if am wrong, that’s your area of expertise. If you don’t know, that’s ok, ask your NCO.

Don’t sweat it SPC (Join to see), everyone has to start somewhere and before you know it you’ll be a SME! As you improcess your new duty station - I’ll assume your request is for your own benefit - you will have the opportunity to request BAH. Most likely a civilian whose sole existence is that, BAH. So you will be in good hands.
