Bob Uecker is inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame

Can you believe this? Maybe I'm late in learning of this (well, I am), but Mr. Baseball, Bob Uecker, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. (Are they sure that wasn't "Shame") He often joked that they would never allow him near the place. But Bob is an inspiration to all us losers everywhere. If he can win immortality, maybe we can too

He was very funny. Loved that guy along with Harry Carey, Billy Martin, Jack Buck, George Steinbrenner actually helped sick kids and helped to build an ER for sick and dying kids. Really a very nice man.

At Tampa General where my baby was born (Rachel). Very nice girl and Christian too.

It is funny he had quite a long career in the Big Leagues, Horrible hitter but not a bad player
