RalltPoint Members, Connections, and Friends it's time "Rally the Troops" and get the word out to contact our Senators and Representatives to support H.R. 5995 - Major Richard Star Act!
To amend title 10, United States Code, to expand eligibility to certain military retirees for concurrent receipt of veterans' disability compensation and retired pay or combat-related special compensation, and for other purposes.
We all need to call the Speaker’s Office in the House and the Senate Leader’s Office in the Senate to ask them to bring the act up for a vote. It has lost momentum due to COVID-19.
Here are links to your state Senators and Representatives:
Senators: https://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm
Representatives: https://www.house.gov/representatives
Let's get the word out and get that back in front of Congress>
Thanks,
COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I'm sorry. I'd love to help, but I don't have any representation in Congress, neither the House nor the Senate. Good luck to y'all who do...

It's why I left Hawaii after 20 years on the Big Island. Hawaii is so Blue it makes California look conservative! Now I'm in northern Idaho where the ratio of GOP legislators to Dems is inversely proportional to Hawaii's! . . .

Hey Troops! That's how democracies fall when too many citizens give up. We are veterans who have served the Constitution. We are the ones to lead the "Save American Democracy" movement.

Hi, Jack.
Our congress is supposed to represent all of us. You don't have to have a particular representative or senator. Just email or call both chambers and leave a message if you do call. The best that we can do is to show our support for issues that impact all of us and if the issue impacts a few, than all the rest of us should feel it as well. just sayin'...

Emailed Rubio and Scott for whatever that's worth, more than likely nothing!
