Water restrictions have continued this week at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss, Texas, just nine months after the facility opened its doors.
As of Wednesday, hospital employees and patients were able to use the water for handwashing and showering, but restrictions continued on its use for drinking or medical needs such has sterilization and surgery after sediment and discoloration was found throughout the facility last week.

Might help to send the scientists home and hire a plumber to find that failed backflow preventer.

Before I ETSed in 2012, they basically wrapped up site prep and were (or were about to be) working on footings for the foundation. $1.3 billion, and it took them a decade to finish, and they can't even drink the water! Just...wow.

Hahaha….man, I left for Korea on a three year stint when they were about to break ground on it in 2011…came back to Bliss from 2014-2018 and it still wasn’t done. Whoever the project manager was should have been fired.

When the project was 1st announced I was a little bummed since I lived in the shadow of the old hospital, which we found such a close locality came in all too handy for myself and my family. I guess I REALLY didn't need to worry after all! LOL!
