A New York lawmaker has launched a campaign to keep Chick-fil-A restaurants out of state rest stops, because of the company’s history of donating to groups that oppose same-sex marriage.
New York’s Thruway Authority is poised to add a number of new restaurants, including fast-food chain Chick-fil-A, to its list of vendors, but assemblyman Harry Bronson and two other state Democrats have voiced opposition to the plans.
In a statement to The Hill, Mr Bronson said Chick-fil-A was “a company with a long and sorry past of supporting discrimination toward LGBTQ+ individuals and their families”.

this will be unconstitutional, and precedent was set regarding a state trying to remove a Christian Foster care facility from state contracts because of their stance regarding the same issue. The block is clearly violating the Companies freedom of religion rights. Who they donate to is not grounds for this type of action. They serve everyone who comes through their doors, regardless of race, sex. creed, or preference.

I bought a sandwich from them yesterday, they were a private company founded on their Christian belief and values. They make great food as well. Who they donate to just like Toyota shouldn't bar them from sells. It's capitalism people you as the consumer generate the consumerism part. You don't want to eat at chick-Il-A go to Popeyes or something. Some of you are so unhinged for peeps sake.
