Ever Been To New York City & Asked For Directions?
No Matter Where You Happen To Be Going, It's: "3 Blocks Up & 4 More To Your Left"
And Yet People Say, "Those Damned New Yorker's Are Some Unfriendly SOB'S".
I Met My Dad There. He Was In Texas & I In Panama, So We Met In NYC, For Some Reason,
But The Gods Only Know "Why".
I Spent An Entire MONTH There ~ The Full 5 Days... I Absolutely LOVED Leaving,
And I've Never Returned Either.

And THAT Was Somewhere Around 1958 - 59
And I Recall Asking Myself: "How Can Anyone Live Here, It's All Concrete From The Ground Up"?....And Even Then It Was Crowded People All Over The Place. I Went Into Macy's And Got Lost... Actually Had To Ask "Which Direction Can I Go, To Get Out Of The Building." ?...We Did Go To Radio City & See The Rockettes & The Movie "Please Don't Eat The Daisies" With Doris Day ~ Whom I Later Met At New Port Beach, CA.
And, Of Course The Empire State Building.....But I Just Did NOT Like Even Being There.
And THAT Was Somewhere Around 1958 - 59
