More: "out of the mouth of Babes:"
I am headed out to pick the kids up for their afterschool lunch date with Pop Pop. And I remembered a while back when we were chatting, if they talked about the kinds of stuff we chat about over lunch.
"Pop Pop, nobody talks about the stuff we talk about. Just you. Most people don't wander around using words like: slubberdeguillon- or whether or not Europa has Alien Sea Life the size of hot air balloons."
So, I wonder what we will talk about today?

PO3 Phyllis Maynard - Slubberdeguillon is a real world. It has been out of circulation since the 1500's. Back in its day...it was a super duper insult. One that could cause you to be challenged to an outright duel, or even a war between Kings and such.
It means every vile thing you can use as an adjective! Slothful, dirty, despicable, dishonest, vile, corrupt, insidious, without morals or scruples, lazy and sadistic. In a word, it was the worst of all a human being can be. No modern equivalent...for it carried a lot of actual and emotional weight with it.

PO3 Phyllis Maynard - My Granddaughter wrote the word and the definition out on paper and pasted it to her bedroom door!
