I posted this earlier and story is relevant. Although many on this platform keep touting China as launching a potential military invasion, they ignore other issues. While a military invasion is always plausible, it would be unpopular. China can also use economic, political and information operations in order to pressure Taiwan into forfeiting its autonomy

Very true and actually do control the economy of quite a few nations already. China usually seems to plan out well ahead and with specific future goals the are constantly preparing for. Nothing happens by accident or without prior planning by Mainland China.
