Great accomplishment for her, but I was bit disappointed in the article (maybe you can enlighten me Chip if you know). How fast did she make Master Chief in?

Theoretically someone could make E-9 in the Army in nine years - this the same for the Navy?

Newly engaged to a nuclear engineer Master Chief Charara said they plan to move back to Metro Detroit. In retirement, she plans to continue encouraging young people to follow their dreams.
