Because they have nothing to run on so they have to keep up the narrative of "the Republicans want to overthrow the government"

I wanna see the video of the pipe bomb guy they never really cared that much about catching. And the interview they did with Ray Epps.

SPC Kevin Ford - “The Democrats wanted an independent bi-partisan panel. The Republicans blocked it”. Is what you said. I understand your bad faith claim, but everything needs to be played out. If people were appointed to the Committee that were guilty of a crime, then they would get their due eventually. For a political enemy to make that statement to undermine the judicial elements of Congress is just too much. It appears you play along with them. For that I must give you a down vote.

SPC Kevin Ford - Again I must verify the facts:
On July 1, 2021, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi created a select committee to investigate the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. capitol following the U.S. Senate's failure to overcome a Republican-led filibuster to create a bipartisan January 6 Commission.[23] Bipartisan membership on the committee was a point of significant political contention. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger were the only two House Republicans to serve on the committee, and the Republican National Committee eventually censured them for their participation.[24] Therefor I must vote you down.

You are confusing the special committee we got instead of the legislation that the Republicans blocked in the Senate. There is nothing in what you posted that is inconsistent with what I said. It sounds like, at best, whatever media sources you read are not being honest with you.

Senate Republicans Block A Plan For An Independent Commission On Jan. 6 Capitol Riot
The bipartisan measure, approved by the House, failed to win enough votes to overcome a GOP filibuster. The plan called for an independent body styled on the one that investigated the 9/11 attacks.

You seem to be lost on the fact that there were two attempts at this. The first a fully independent commission put in place by legislation. Not a House Committee, not a Senate committee but a truly independent 9/11 style commission. That's what the Senate Republicans blocked and what you seem to be confusing with the committee we actually got.
Voted down for the only reason I vote down. In retaliation for voting down first. We want to play that game, we'll play that game.

Because chery picking and telling half truths is what they do best. One of the republicans should enter the whole video as evidence int he hearing.
