Another 10 degrees and my homemade bacon will be ready to pull.

I can smell the Bourbon the pork belly was marinated in. Won't be long now.

My hope is it tases good. I've got some Jim Beam Devil's Cut to also try. I'm hoping the Bourbon they extract from the cask brings a deeper smokey flavor to the meat I will use it on. I had a friend recommend using tequila for chicken. I will be using Premium Tequila Ley AÑJEO. It's a Tequila that has been aged for at least 3 years in a cask. Yea I know it's sipping Tequila but nothing says I can't try it.
