I smelled Enigma as soon as I started reading the lead-in. It reminds me of the development of the KL-7 we used during the early periods of the Cold War. The little group of code breakers at Bletchley Park in WWII really got the ball rolling! God bless 'em all !!!

SPC Terry Page KL-7 with Pinboard? I Know, Now by My Time I was Using the KL-7 with Card Reader but I am Also a KL-47 Off-Line Encryption Operator.

We had a peripheral paper-tape with it in a little radio hootch stuck on a 3/4 ton truck in each battery (8" SP Howitzers).

SPC Terry Page - Taking Along a Little Heavy Weaponry isn't a Bad Idea Sometimes, My Last Cruise I was "Watching" Iran Up Close and Personal on a Nuclear Cruiser, Plenty of "Cover" Tomahawk, SM-2, Harpoon, 5 inch 54, Chain Gun, 50 Cals, 60 Cals. Don't Know Why they Wouldn't "Come Out and Play".
