I read of one other man like him...a Death Camp survivor named : Victor Frankel, who wrote a book called : "Man's search for meaning." (I think, I am going off of memory from fifty years ago) And in his book he "decided" that you could take his Liberty but never his Freedom. And he , like Yoshio, decided to love being alive and kind.
