Found this interesting. Not sure what to make of it or if we will ever find out why it was reported or who claimed that he just returned from deployment. Sad regardless that he was murdered.

I just heard this reported on the news last night. I didn't realize until now the police gave the press the wrong info.

It is sad but not surprising the media rushing to get the story out doesn't have correct facts. Glad they got the punk who did it.

Tragic to say the least. Probably just bad info.
Back in 1994, one of my classmates who I was commissioned with, 1LT Matt Flores was gunned down in a parking lot out in California leaving behind a young family. The mystery is still unsolved 20 years later.
