How can I go active duty if I am national guard and still in AIT?

You need to finish AIT before anything else can happen.
In order to transfer from NG to active, you will have to submit a packet and request a release from your contract/NG. This isn't likely going to happen because your state just invested money into your training, out of the state budget.
If you would like to deploy, there is a website ( https://mobcop.aoc.army.pentagon.mil/ ) where you can go and see what deploying units need additional positions field. You can search by rank and/or MOS. You will need to build a profile and upload the required documents.

You have to go see an AD recruiter when you get done with AIT. Also realize active duty units aren't deploying that much anymore. Nor are Guard or Reserve units. Let's hope it stays that way for awhile.

They're not giving you the run around. It's not their job and they can't do anything about it. You'll have to wait until you finish IET and submit a request through your unit. Highly doubtful it will be granted because they just spent a lot of money out of their budget to train you.
