We take sunlight for granted each day of our lives... but what if we woke up one day and looked out and Our sun was fading out of the center of our Solar System due to some unknown reason... recognizing that it takes 8 minutes for light to reach us from the the sun...
This is hypothetical, but what if it wasn't... what if it was happening today? Just close your eyes and think about it for a minute or three... Your thoughts?

I know for me lack of sun for a duration brings on depression so I visit a tanning salon during the winter. Not for the tan but for 20 minutes of artificial sunlight 3 days a week

Most of us would wake up dead. Some might make it a few days, but it wouldn't take long for all life on earth to cease to exist.
Same thing with the moon pulling away. Once that happens, humanity is really screwed.
