The current administration targets them too, at least if you listen to the Twitter feed of the POTUS. There really is a problem here that social media has brought about. It's no one platform's fault or administration's fault, but we now find ourselves in a situation where anyone can publish anything and reach a large audience. We've got two halves of the country living in different realities. Very different realities with different sets of facts about what is happening.

I don't know what the solution is, and I don't think we will ever get everyone agreeing on the best course of action for the country; in fact we don't want that as the crucible of debate over the best course of action is one of our strengths. But if we can't even get people to agree on the facts of what we are experiencing, then there is no productive debate about ideas and we will tear ourselves apart from the inside. I don't want to put too fine a point on this, but what this is causing is one of the gravest national security threats in our lifetime.

There are people, Americans, who legitimately believe that the number of votes cast in the state of GA is double the population of the state of GA because of a screenshot...of the Republic of Georgia.

SSG Robert Webster made the rounds on Twitter. I couldn’t track down a point of origin. I don’t even remotely pretend this exclusive to any one party either. We tend to not fact check things that support our preconceived notions, we just like and share and accept. That’s the real tragedy of social media.

SFC Thomas Foreman - That is why I try to fact check this stuff myself. I am very tired of all of the Russia, Russia, Russia BS and then the acceptance by way too many people that Democrats and the left did not wrong.

And like the mask issue, the ignorance continues to astound me, and that includes people that should know better.

SSG Robert Webster I have a pretty reliable method of fact checking where I bounce back and forth between media sites I know have a bias one way or the other, and find the commonalities. Usually that’s the truth. Honestly I’ve found the AP and NPR to be reasonably non-partisan for straight news.

SPC Michael Head tell you what. When the Trump campaign exposes voter fraud that counted votes in their favor I’ll entertain the idea of a re-vote

This is an easy fix for Facebook. They take a private oath to swear allegiance to the Democrats and Biden… and all will be forgiven. It appears this is how it’s always happened in the past. MHO

Please get you facts straight. Half way down this article they quote the actual numbers. Now the thing to remember is not to confuse absentee ballots with the mail in ballots some governors just allowed. The only similarity is both may use the mail, then they are apples and oranges. Absentee ballots typically require a picture ID to get starter and have very strict rules. The mail in ballots some governors pushed typically just require the applicant to fill in some personal information that is very easy to get online, with some states actually mailing ballots to everyone on their roles, this means the people who moved, the dead, and God knows who else. So not that you have the straight information please stop spreading falsehoods that “The vast majority of European nations allow some form of vote by mail.” Yes, a very small percentage, and not in the context of how you are saying it. Yes, I called you out for trying to mislead people.

SFC (Join to see) the form to request a mail in ballot in PA is the same form used to request absentee. You check one of two boxes. You also have to give your drivers license number or social security number. Would you prefer a blood test?

SFC Thomas Foreman - OK, you are in a state of denial. I can’t find a copy of it on line anywhere, surprise, surprise. The briefing on contesting the election in Pa. will be filed shortly, with more that enough proof for all of you who say there is no proof. Give it another day or two. All I can say is God bless us if an election is called like this without an entire manual recount of all the states in question. If states didn't keep what they are required to, there will probably be rioting. This is serious stuff, not some game to laugh about, about the dead voting. One honest vote being canceled out by fraud is too much. You can play all the word games you want; it won’t change what’s coming. MHO

SFC (Join to see) a legal filing by a lawyer representing a client is evidence of nothing. I am citing the law!
