As you think about a decade of your life (e.g. 1950, 60, 70, etc), which one made an important impression on you and why?

The 1970's. Like Cpl Vic Burk I joined the Army, not the Marines, at the age of 17 and it got me going in the right direction. The 1980's finished college and completed OCS (from the NCO Corps to the Officer Corps), The 1990's all three daughters are born...great moment in life. The 2000's my deployment to OIF 05-07 and 2010's my retirement from the military after serving a total of 37 years and I got married for the third and final time to my very best friend and soulmate. Great question and post PO3 Phyllis Maynard There's a lot of great moments and impressions that I left out, because we would be here all day!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs from the beginning of my RP journey, I was told and has personally found out for myself that you are a person, of the people. I learned directly from you the go-getter you are. But, I had no idea the journey you took to arrive here. Kudos!

50's. Learned how to defend and what was important enough to defend. Began a lifelong adventure with firearms, how to work with large animals, and when to walk away from bad influences. Most importantly I was able to continue learning with enough heart to be successful which began during the 1950's.

CPL Douglas Chrysler I love talking with people who have walked the walk and produced the fruit. The wisdom from their mouths to my ears is welcomed history.
