Bingo, I was highly motivated by anger on more than one occasion. It is one tool in the tool kit. It should not be the primary leadership style but acting like it has no use or purpose would be incorrect.

The tool that cut me the deepest was when a leader showed disappointment when I deserved anger.

It can be an effective tool in some instances, however it becomes less effective with time and must be used less often as one takes on increased leadership responsibilities.
