1700 HP TWIN-TURBO DODGE DEMON 170 ANNOUNCEMENT: https://youtu.be/a_Q51oOTXQk
Hennessy Racing is going to modify a dozen of these Dodge Demon 170s.
The engineers at Hennesy are shooting for a 7.9 second 1/4 mile time.
They will take out the stock engine and transmission ( In the event, the owner wants. Put it back to stock configuration) and put it in a modified engine in transmission with twin turbos and put out 1800 horsepower.
This is not a finished product. This is just the owner of the racing company taking his stock Dodge Demon 170 and doing some crazy burnouts and a couple of quarter mile drag races.

With an 8 speed transmission, it'll still probably get 15 miles per gallon. I'm sure if you fill the tank with a 1960 SS 454 460 HP Chevelle and you had them drive across country and if you had this car to the same thing, I bet you the Demon would go farther. It's also turbocharged. You don't have to put much throttle just to go 60 or 70 miles per hour.
