Okay, "Bacon" and "State of California" are obvious RP Topics for this story, but "Humor"? Why not? Maybe you don't think it's funny, but I do. Why? I got outta there just in time, and every day a new reason percolates to the top of the news to reinforce my decision. Let me put that another way. Remember the "Soup Nazi" from the TV series "Seinfeld"? That was funny, wasn't it? Well, California has all sorts of Food Nazis as well as Behavior Nazis. Surely, that's funny too. And if you're not yet grateful, be thankful. Think about it: No bacon for California means more bacon for the rest of us...

The major problem with California is Sacramento. If the voters there have any chance left for survival they need to send all their lawmakers to DC to hook up with the Non-Frderal Texas lawmakers. Once they are all corralled in DC, we could then send them down to Guatemala; ElSalvadore and Mexico on an extended fact finding mission (with no federal or state bacon either).

Sounds to me like another policy put in place by people who have zero experience in the area they are regulating. It almost reminds me of Chairman Mao thinking he was a better farmer than anyone else, leading to the death of many millions of his people when the farms died.
