There's a fast food place I discovered when my wife was in the hospital and the manager got to where he would start my order as soon as he saw my car. It was always excellent. So here we are a year later and I decided to start tipping the whole crew. Turns out they haven't been getting raises but no worries, their rent is paid. If everyone showed the workers a little appreciation, the economy would settle down in no time.

THANKS DOUG.... You're Absolutely Right,
Sometimes People Are So Concerned About The Own Income & Expenses, They Don't Even THINK About The Others Whom Earn Far Less Money... While We Purchase Products At A Discounted Prices, They're The Ones Paying For It.

But I Sure Miss Those Chocolate Malts.
Some Were So THICK I Needed A Spoon To EAT Them...
Because They Couldn't Be Sucked Through A Straw,
As The Straw Would Collapse & Go Flat, Making It Impossible To DRINK

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney Ya, but that was when we were young. Don't remember where you're from, but in my part of New England, that malt came from Friendly's and was called an Awful Awful. Don't exactly remember but think that stood for Awful Thick and Awful Good.

OMG.. I'm SO OLD, I Recall Peddling Our Bikes, After Doing Our Paper-Route,
To McDonald's, And Buying A Burger & A Malt For 25 Cents.... 10 Cents For The Burger And 15 Cents For The Malt... Fries? Add A Nickle.
At That Time, I Lived In Lansing, Michigan; During The Mid 1950's

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney We never had a McDonald's within bike range, so I never went to one until my friends and I started driving. I always thought what's the big deal? They really weren't that good, but as you said they were cheap, so that made them a great date and/or meet up place.
