MACHINERY REPAIR TECHNICIAN – ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Coordinates and perform testing of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and analyze electrical problems.
Maintain operational knowledge of electrical systems.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Certificate of an approved electrical apprenticeship program. Minimum of four years of on-the-job training experience as an electrician may substitute for certificate.
COMPLEXITY OF WORK: Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience as a fully qualified electrician preferred, but will consider recent graduates of an approved training program including military training
Experience with multi-phase systems of low and high voltage.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
Tools: Minimum of a starter set of tools typically used by electricians
Hours per week: 40 hours
Weekends/nights? No. No overtime.
PAY: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE
Benefits: A comprehensive benefits package is available and includes some or all of these: health, dental, STD, optical, RX, 401K, Accidental, FlexSave
Travel: No required travel is anticipated in this role
