I think this book will connect with a lot of you Younger Veterans, of all those troubles over in Iraq, Afghanistan...and the like. For this book tells the journey of a Veteran returning from Combat Deployment...and trying to navigate his way through returning to Civilian Life.
The whole story is believable ...although it is all Fiction. And don't worry about the "Wizard Part" , it is also very believable and toned down. No Sorcery here. LOL
But the Main Character finding his way, and how he blends in to a new Career....I think it will find a common thread among how Veterans find a way when they come home.
It is one of my favorite books...and a very easy read. He is a good fit for the House he becomes the Butler for. Give it a look see, I think, like me, it might make you feel pretty good by the end.
Nothing dramatic, real life issues, real life greed, real life bitches....and all the good people who rise up.
