Funny routine. I've been called 3 times, every time I sit through an entire day and then, after reviewing my history and a few questions, the defense dismisses me. I guess "hang them" is not an appropriate response :), OK OK I didn't really say that

The last one was a narcotics case. The defense Attorney asked me if I could possibly be impartial since I had investigated narcotics cases, I responded that I could he replied "I don't think so" turned to the prosecutor and said "He's gone", this after 8 hours of sitting. Oh well

PO2 Marco Monsalve - That's brutal. Wonder if he wanted to expected you to impartial for or against. Might have been useful to have someone with your experience on that jury.

"They say it's a jury of your peers ... the people there are one step away from being a defendant" -- best line.

The first time I was ever called, I was in Germany, in the mid-80s.
I've been called once since living here, then the county cancelled it - this was before the pandemic - and I've heard nothing since.
