A new bill to combat veteran suicide was signed last month, a measure to establish a 3-digit number national crisis line similar to 911 for mental health emergencies. This bill is the latest step to ensure that veterans have several avenues to reach out for help when experiencing turmoil or distress. I encourage you to learn more about the positive impacts that could come out of this new bill!

Great idea. There aren't enough people available to fully staff current "Crisis" lines. Do you have any idea what it's like to call and be put on hold? That I'm here to comment is evidence I didn't get asked to hold a 3rd time. I'd told my self "Once more". Instead of starting something new and spending more tax dollars on a "Program", incorporate all the currently existing into a Nationwide whole with a 3 digit number that connects to someone that is available with out "Can you Hold Please?" Then the money can be put in to things that will really help Vets and not pay a Bureaucrat manager.

I hope this goes everywhere a veteran resides. In homes, hospitals, under bridges and overseas.
