On October 4, 2013, Võ Nguyên Giáp, Vietnamese general (Dien Bien Phu, Vietnam War) and politician, died at the age of 102. An excerpt from the article:
"Vo Nguyen Giap (August 25, 1911–October 4, 2013) was a Vietnamese general who led the Viet Minh during the First Indochina War. He later commanded the Vietnam People's Army during the Vietnam War. Giap was the deputy prime minister of Vietnam from 1955 to 1991."

Last three administrations have cast a very dark shadow over our military leadership. Talented, accomplished, dedicated and professional men and women working under the yoke of self-serving, often times erratic, career politicians. Good luck with that. General Milley is a good man working in extremely difficult circumstances.
