Controversial MLB umpire ripped after brutal strike calls: 'Fire this guy'

When a pitch is as far off target as it appears His often are and strikes are called on what should have been called balls that can change the entire results in a game and not based on the batters performance. Certainly not at major league level but I have umpired baseball games and its not that difficult to call based on where the pitch is although I never had the extra checks that You can see exactly where it in now by technical checks that weren't possible before. I doubt anyone is going to agree with all the calls any umpire may make but like any other profession some are better than others. It seems most of His calls are not questioned and not everyone has the same skill level to call games and maybe even eyesight is a factor and as some gets older that could apply more often. Those are kind of general statements and not a conclusion as to this umpires skill or lack of it but no matter who is behind the plate like that not everyone will be happy with every call and they only have seconds to make that call if it's a strike or ball.
